During that time Nematron developed the first human machine interface (HMI) and Industrial PC. Nematron patented Visual Flowchart Language (VFL!" ), an advanced programming environment that provides an easy-to-use alternative to traditional ladder logic programming.

The M-Series Monitors

Nematron M-Series Monitors

These new monitors from Nematron offer unparalleled value and superb quality at a competitive price. There are currently three sizes, 15 , 17 , and 19 in this series with more additions to follow. All are available with 5-wire Analog Resistive touchscreens and NEMA sealed panel mount front panels. Their compact size and very thin panel mounted depth of less than 2.75 makes them ideal for installation in harsh environments for many factory automation applications.

The Nematron M-series monitors include 15 (M1500) XGA, 17 (M1700) SXGA, and a 19 (M1900) SXGA LCD monitors. All versions are standard with 100-240 VAC input power supplies, have NEMA 4/4x/12 panel mountable front panels, and are less than 2.75 deep when panel mounted. Stainless Steel front panels and 24 Volt DC input power are available options for all three. Nematron M-series monitors all provide Analog Video (VGA) connections and allow either connection via USB or RS-232 for the optional 5-wire analog resistive touchscreen. The M1700 and M1900 additionally have Digital Video Inputs (DVI). The entire series is UL/cUL listed, complies with European CE and RoHS requirements, and are UL approved for Class I and II, Division 2 hazardous locations.

Nematron PowerView HMIs

The Nematron PowerView touch screen HMI delivers a cost effective ease-of-use solution in one flexible system. Use PowerView to maximise the combined performance of general Control System or PLC Workstation applications, Data Capture, Monitoring systems or wherever a local operator interface is required to display machine or process information graphically.

The Nematron PowerView range offers three different bright image screen sizes, 5.6", 7.7" & 10.4" and is available with both Ethernet and Serial communication ports. Embedded technology accentuates ease-of-use and simplifies the development function - simply develop the application on a PC and download to the PowerView for simulation and test. Application developers can start developing straight out of the box!

Crisp interface action is delivered through the high performance RISC based architecture. The Nematron PowerView touch screen input response has proven to be amongst the quickest in the industry and makes it ideal for both discrete manufacturing and process applications.
